Covid/Usps Delays
We recognize that USPS is experiencing tremendous delays related to COVID as well as other USPS Internal issues.
Please note that USPS, specifically USPS Post Offices and USPS Distribution Centers located here in North Texas, are experiencing longer than normal mail/package delivery.
Standard First Class packages are taking anywhere between 5-21 days for delivery. We continue to ship all orders within 1-3 business days (Mon-Fri). We make sure that your package is in the hands of USPS within that time-frame. Unfortunately they are running into issues where the main Post Office isn't scanning the barcodes on the package once it's received OR the Distribution Centers aren't scanning them at all. What this means is it is applying false ETA's of when the package will be delivered. Most packages are going from 'On-Time' to 'In Transit, Arriving Late'.
Unfortunately here at MyPatentPrints, we don't have any additional information as it pertains to where packages are besides what is displayed on the same tracking that you have.
We strongly suggest upgrading your shipping to our USPS Priority option when making your order.
Thank you for your continued patience and understanding.
Common Question:
Why don't you have options for other carriers besides USPS?
Most of our packages are considered 'irregular size/shape' due to it being in tubes (which is the safest way to deliver a print without being damaged). With them being defined as 'irregular' by UPS and FedEx, these other carriers apply larger fees, upwards of $10-$13 for standard delivery. With our products already being at their all-time low prices, we couldn't justify charging our customers half the price of the print just for shipping. We do offer USPS Priority as an option which seems to help with timing, but it isn't perfect since it still goes through USPS.
