A patent print poster of a Planetarium invented by Frank J. and William F. Trippensee. The patent was issued by the United States Patent Office on October 26, 1909. While this device is called a Planetarium it is technically an orrey. An orrery is a mechanical model of the solar system that illustrates or predicts the relative positions and motions of the planets and moons, usually according to the heliocentric model. It may also represent the relative sizes of these bodies.
Patent prints allow you to have a piece of history in your home, office, man cave, geek den or anywhere you wish to add an interesting touch.
